On Wednesday, 19th March 2014, TalentLounge was the venue host for the photography forum, Behind the Lens 27th Edition. The topic of discussion was about Travel Photography - Hobby or Career? With Peter Tan, and the invited panelists, Mr Matt Brandon, Dr Teh Ban Hup, and En Hafiz Ismail, they were interviewed by Sanjitpaal Singh.

Mr Matt Brandon
Matt Brandon is a Malaysia based humanitarian and travel photographer, who collaborates with NGOs to tell their stories and to train their field staff to do the same. To do this he established the On Field Media Project a non-profit designed to teach other non-profits how to tell their story visually. Well known as a photographer and international workshop instructor, Matt’s images have been used by clients such as Partner Aid International, A Rocha, NeighborWorks, the BBC, Honda Motor Corporation, and Bombadier Transport Corporation, Asian Geographic, KLM Airlines and others. His photographic pursuits have taken him to the countries of Egypt, Tibet, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Maldives, Philippines, Malaysia to name a few. Matt also on the design board for Think Tank Photo, a camera bag manufacturer.
Dr Teh Ban Hup
Dr Teh has traveled extensively throughout the region and has led many photo expeditions. Editor's note: Dr Teh is a really modest person preferring a simple bio. Many photographers are familiar with his works and follow his work religiously through social media.
En Hafiz Ismail
Hafiz Ismail is a Malaysian based photographer who loves to travel. When he is not shooting for his corporate clients, landscape and human interest photography is his passion and hobby. Having started late in the aforementioned photography genres, he looks forward to do more travel and see the world. He is a contributor with Getty Images and some of his images has been sold to clients from all over the world through Getty. Apart from commercial clients, a number of his printed work has been sold to individuals. Apart from still photos, he is also into time lapse photography.
